Sarah Colombo is a filmmaker, documentarian and journalist dedicated to telling authentic human stories. As cofounder of Effie Studios, Sarah has created work for Amazon, Disney, Fox, the NFL and more. She has also created a robust body of work with Cedars Sinai, delivering highly-polished healthcare content that retains its emotional human core. Her highly empathetic and conversational style strives to capture human moments through a compassionate and authentic lens.

She began her career as a contributor at Premiere magazine and staff writer at The Daily Breeze newspaper in the South Bay of Los Angeles, where she profiled celebrities including John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman and Jake Gyllenhaal. She has since dedicated two decades to honing the craft of interview by engaging in hundreds of conversations for documentary productions and unscripted television for TLC and Discovery networks. 

Sarah holds a M.A. in Journalism from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in English from the University of California at Los Angeles. She lives in Eagle Rock with her husband and creative partner, Allen, and their two teenage boys.
